Sudhakar Vasudevrao Kulkarni was born on 8th February 1940, in a small village called “Soundalga” on Maharashtra - Karnataka border. At a tender age of 5 years, he lost his mother
He was raised by his aunt for initial few years, where he pursued his primary schooling. Aunt’s house was full of all comforts, but there was no importance towards education. He left comfortable life in search of a higher education and shifted to “Rama-Krishna Math”. There he completed his 10th and incidentally met his cousin elder brother at “Kolhapur Devi temple”.
